How do I list my lot for more events?

You can list your lot for more events by opening the app and tapping the “Sell” tab. Under “Spots,” select the lot for which you want to edit the details. Scroll through the list of events for which your lot is listed, to the very bottom of the page. Tap the button called “Edit [Your Lot’s Name]”, and you will be able to tap through to the “Events” page, where you can select future events for which to list your lot. Just be sure to tap “Submit” when you’re done editing! Important: Tapping “Create spots” will force you to list an entirely new lot. Do not tap “Create spots” on the “Sell” tab if you want to list more spots for an existing lot!

Will I still be paid if I don't check fans in by scanning their passes?

We highly encourage sellers to scan their fans’ passes when they arrive. However, we understand that sometimes you cannot scan every fan’s pass. Generally speaking, yes, you will still be paid for a reservation if you do not scan the fan’s pass.

Will I still be paid if a fan does not show up?

Occasionally fans will reserve a spot and fail to show up on the day of the event. We understand life happens. Generally speaking, if you have a fan who never arrives for the event and does not contact you, you will still be compensated for that reservation.

Can my roommate and I be logged into the app at the same time?

Yes, if you list the lot we can add your roommate as a lot “attendant.” They will be able to scan in fans, adjust lot details like price and arrival window, and remove spots from inventory. They just won’t get push notifications or emails when the lot gets a new reservation.

Listing a Lot

Listing your first Lot

You can list your lot on the Clutch! app by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play and tapping “Sell.” Pro tip: When listing your lot, set your arrival window relative to kickoff, i.e. “3 hours before kickoff” rather than specifying it to the kickoff time of the next game, i.e. “11am”. That way, when you list for more future games, your arrival window is more flexible to accommodate varying kickoff times.

“Can I list my lot with my roommates?”

One of you will need to submit the lot on your Clutch! account, but we can add your roommates as “attendants” to your lot. They will be able to scan in fans, adjust lot details like price and arrival window, and remove spots from inventory. They just won’t get push notifications or emails when the lot gets a new reservation.

 

Lot Approval

Your listing will not be visible to fans until it gets approved. Your lot will go through an approval process, which should take no more than 24-48 hours. Once we review your lot submission, we will email you to (1) verify your email address and (2) ask any follow-up questions we may have about your listing. These questions could include verifying your lot’s address, your arrival window, or your check-in instructions. The fastest way to get your lot approved is to respond promptly to emails from Clutch!, so after you submit your lot be on the lookout for an email from us!

Lot Unapproval

The #1 goal of our app is to improve the gameday experience for everyone. We expect sellers to provide the service they promise in their listings. If we feel that your lot being listed on our platform puts our goal at risk or you are not providing services promised, we reserve the right to unapprove your lot at any time.

Season Passes

We are very excited to announce that sellers can now list season parking passes! If you would like to list season parking passes for your lot in addition to individual passes, please email support@imclutch.com and we will be happy to help you get your season passes listed. You can list a season pass for the entire season or a partial season pass for two or more games. Sellers are not currently able to list season passes without the help of the Clutch! team.

Un-Listing Your Lot

You can un-list your lot by opening the app and tapping the “Sell” tab. Under “Spots,” select the lot for which you want to edit the details. Select the event for which you want to un-list your lot, then tap the “Remove all spots” button. This will remove your spots and fans will no longer be able to reserve a spot in your lot for that event. You can add spots back to that event at any time by following the same steps you took to remove them, then tapping “Add back”.

Editing Lot Details

Adjusting Your Price

Tap “Sell” and under “Spots” select the lot for which you want to edit the price. Then select the event for which you want to update your price. You will see a screen where you can change your price, earliest arrival time, latest arrival time, latest departure time and remove spots from your listing. To modify your price, tap “Change” next to your price. Type in your new price and tap “Change” again.

Adjusting Your Earliest Arrival Time

Tap “Sell” and under “Spots” select the lot for which you want to edit the earliest arrival time. Then select the event for which you want to update your earliest arrival time. You will see a screen where you can change your price, earliest arrival time, latest arrival time, latest departure time, and remove spots from your listing. Tap “Change” next to your earliest arrival time. Type in your desired earliest arrival time and tap “Change” again.

“Why can’t I change my earliest arrival time?”

You may not be able to change your arrival time using the instructions in this section. This is because you already have a reservation for this event, so you can no longer adjust your arrival window manually. If you would still like to adjust your arrival window, please email support@imclutch.com and we’ll be able to help you.

Adjusting Your Latest Arrival Time

Tap “Sell” and under “Spots” select the lot for which you want to edit the latest arrival time. Then select the event for which you want to update your latest arrival time. You will see a screen where you can change your price, earliest arrival time, latest arrival time, latest departure time, and remove spots from your listing. Tap “Change” next to your latest arrival time. Type in your new latest arrival time and tap “Change” again.

“Why can’t I change my latest arrival time?”

You may not be able to change your arrival time using the instructions in this section. This is because you already have a reservation for this event, so you can no longer adjust your arrival window manually. If you would still like to adjust your arrival window, please email support@imclutch.com and we’ll be able to help you.

Adjusting Your Latest Departure Time

Tap “Sell” and under “Spots” select the lot for which you want to edit the latest departure time. Then select the event for which you want to update your latest departure time. You will see a screen where you can change your price, earliest arrival time, latest arrival time, latest departure time, and remove spots from your listing. Tap “Change” next to your latest departure time. Type in your desired latest departure time and tap “Change” again.

Adjusting Price, Arrival Window, or Departure Time for All Events

You can edit your lot details for all events at once by opening the app and tapping the “Sell” tab. Under “Spots,” select the lot for which you want to edit the details. Scroll through the list of events for which your lot is listed, to the very bottom of the page. Tap the button called “Edit [Your Lot’s Name]”, and you will be able to edit any and all lot details from there. Just be sure to tap “Submit” when you’re done editing – it’s on the last page of your lot details!

Listing for More Events

You can list your lot for more events by opening the app and tapping the “Sell” tab. Under “Spots,” select the lot for which you want to edit the details. Scroll through the list of events for which your lot is listed, to the very bottom of the page. Tap the button called “Edit [Your Lot’s Name]”, and you will be able to tap through to the “Events” page, where you can select future events for which to list your lot. Just be sure to tap “Submit” when you’re done editing! Important: Tapping “Create spots” will force you to list an entirely new lot. Do not tap “Create spots” on the “Sell” tab if you want to list more spots for an existing lot!

Removing Spots From Your Listing

Tap “Sell” and under “Spots” select the lot from which you want to remove spots. Then select the event for which you want to remove spots. You will see a screen where you can change your price, earliest arrival time, latest arrival time, latest departure time, and remove spots from your listing. If you want to remove a few spots, tap “Remove 1 spot” as many times as spots you would like removed. If you would like to remove all of your spots listed for that event, tap “Remove all spots.”

Gameday

Your First Reservation

As soon as your lot is approved, fans can make reservations for your upcoming events. We will email you and send you a push notification when you get a reservation in your lot. Be sure to turn on push notifications (on your phone go to Settings > Notifications > Clutch!) and check your email! Also, be sure to check your contact information in the app to make sure it is correct. To check your contact information, open the Clutch! app, tap the “Account” tab tap “My Contact Info” and fill in your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. 

Before Your First Event

Before your first event, be sure to:

  1. Join the Clutch! Sellers Facebook Group! It is a forum in which Clutch! sellers from across the country can converse, ask each other questions, and communicate with the Clutch! team.
  2. Get a Yard Sign. Every seller gets a “Clutch! Reserved Parking” yard sign. Our yard signs make it easier for fans to identify your lot and sellers love them. A member of our team will deliver you a sign after your lot is approved. Be sure to place your yard sign in a visible area in your lot!
  3. Check Your Arrival Window. Every seller gets a “Clutch! Reserved Parking” yard sign. Our yard signs make it easier for fans to identify your lot and sellers love them. The Day of the Event

Check-In
Be sure to check your fans in when they arrive. You can do this on the app by tapping “Sell”, then tapping “Check-In Buyer”, and then simply scanning the fan’s barcode on their phone!

Selling Cash Spots
If you do not pre-sell all of your inventory on Clutch!, you are more than welcome to sell spots via cash on the day of the event. When you sell a spot via cash, all you will need to do is tap “Remove 1 spot” on the “Sell” tab and that will prevent your lot from being oversold.

No-Shows
Occasionally fans will reserve a spot and fail to show up on the day of the event. We understand life happens. Generally speaking, if you have a fan who never arrives for the event and does not contact you, you will still be compensated for that reservation.

Check Out
Fans do not need to check out with you, so you are not required to scan a fan’s pass before they leave, just when they arrive.

Payment and Fees

You will be paid via PayPal up to 3 business days after the event. Clutch! will withhold a percentage of each successful transaction’s reservation fee from the seller payout as follows:

  • 6% standard seller fee*
  • 3% reduced seller fee for students and non-profits

For example, if you are a student seller and you sell a spot for $30, Clutch! will pay you $29.10 for that spot (withholding a fee equivalent to 3% of your reservation fee). We will verify your student or non-profit status during the lot approval process.

We are unfortunately not currently able to issue payments via Venmo or split payments among roommates.

*Pricing does not apply to enterprise users.

Ratings and Reviews

Fans are prompted to leave a rating and review of their lot after the event begins. They can leave you a rating out of 5 Stars and a written review. You can view your ratings by viewing your lot listing on the “Reserve” tab of the app. Sellers are not currently able to view their written reviews, but that is a feature we are hoping to provide for sellers soon. If you would like to know what written reviews fans have left for you, please email support@imclutch.com and we will be happy to share them with you.
